New Hospital to open January 2012

This new 60 bed Hospital that will open in January 2012 is an inpatient medical and an outpatient/inpatient surgical hospital. Using state-of-the-art technology, such as new patient tracking systems, it will be able to monitor a patient’s progress throughout the duration of the patient’s stay, thus, providing better care and efficient turn-around times. The facility also boasts the Diagnostic Imaging Center that delivers cutting-edge imaging technology that will benefit both physicians and patients as they determine what type of care is needed.
  • Expected Cases per year: 3000 per year
  • Expected Number of FTEs in dept: 27.2
  • Number of OR rooms: 4 and 2 Procedure rooms
  • Director is over: Pre-Operative, Post Operative, Intra-Operative, Sterile Processing
  • Director reports to: Chief Nursing Officer
Education: Bachelors degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing preferred. Associates Degree with a minimum of seven (7) years experience as a Director of Surgery will be considered in place of a Bachelors Degree.

Experience:

 Minimum five (5) years experience in management and surgery RN.

Licensure: Currently licensed in the State of North Dakota as a Registered Nurse or ability to obtain. CPR and ACLS certification within 180 days of hire.

Skills:

Able to perform administrative skills. Knowledge of theories of management. Experience in human resource management. Skills in financial management
