Job Summary
• Manages 28 FTEs in Cath Lab, Cardiac Imaging, and CV Diagnostics.
• Reports to Executive Director of Perioperative Services.
• Integrates assigned areas with nursing throughout the organization
• Provides leadership for patient safety and satisfaction in assigned areas.
• Drives employee satisfaction through rounding, regular meetings with staff and holding staff accountable for these measures.
• Provides leadership for driving Magnet understanding and Nursing Sensitive Measures above the mean. Holds staff accountable for these measures.
• Establishes the strategic direction, long and short range goals and annual objectives for Invasive and Non-Invasive Cardiology in collaboration with the Executive Director of Perioperative Services and the Cardiovascular Line, physicians and COO, and key members of the Cardiovascular team.
• Anticipates emerging Cardiovascular trends and evaluates impact on current services, technology and market.
• Investigates trends and new developments which may be incorporated into Cardiovascular Services and provides for market share growth.
• Develops and fosters strong physician relationships resulting in physician satisfaction.
• Prepares departmental budget, monitors financial data, maintains inventory control, adheres to charge procedure, and implements strategies to reduce unnecessary utilization, reduce cost and manage labor productivity to standards.
• Directs day to day operation of assigned areas and integrates operation of all areas managed through matrix relationships into a cohesive, effective and efficient service for patients, families, physicians and staff.

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN required.
• Must possess a current Missouri RN license and be BCLS certified.
• Cardiac Catherization Lab experience required
• Professional certification in area of leadership or clinical practice must be obtained when eligible to test.
• Communication and attitude of responsiveness is absolutely key to all positions in the Invasive and Non-Invasive Cardiology areas. A “can-do” attitude is required for the exemplary customer service expected.
